Farms and Ranches for Sale in Carr, CO
About Carr — Farm & Ranch Country
Carr is a Weld County crossroads north of Nunn, right up against the north edge of Weld County. It's ranch country and Pawnee National Grassland edge — buyers here want land, a well, and no HOA.
The Housing Story In Carr
Carr is an unincorporated community in far northern Weld County, settled in 1872 and sitting 32 miles north of Fort Collins. Nobody buys in Carr for the town, and it would be strange to pretend otherwise: what is here is a church, the old schoolhouse, a scatter of houses, and land. A great deal of land, with nothing between it and the Front Range but sky.
Buyer's Notes From Christine
Farm and ranch listings in Carr come with meaningful due-diligence items you don't see in city stock: well production, water rights and augmentation plans, fence-line surveys, mineral rights, and grazing leases. I always walk the property and pull the well records before we write anything. Buying in Carr is buying land, and the house is often the smaller half of the decision.
